Real Patients

The warmth that represents us

A cancer diagnosis is never easy and at the Siglo XXI Radiotherapy Medical Center we seek to ensure that our patients' radiotherapy process goes beyond a simple treatment. From being greeted with a smile to being kindly served with coffee and cookies in our waiting room, our patients receive warmth, solidarity and affection from all the clinic staff at all times.

Our philosophy of “Being hope of life” is transmitted through each collaborator who is vividly committed to the cause we represent and who seeks to make the day of pain of cancer filled with some form of joy and good times.

Our patients begin their treatment and from day one they receive love. Our technicians, staff with extensive experience not only in the area of imaging but also in quality service, make the radiotherapy treatment a fear-free experience, explaining step by step, accompanying them and letting them know that they can do it and that everything will be fine.

At the end of the treatment, patients participate in a “graduation ceremony” where a song that they choose and that represents them is played on the speakers throughout the clinic. When this song plays, they make their trip “for the last time” from the treatment team to the waiting room and there they are greeted with applause from all the staff and loved ones who want to accompany them. In turn, they are given a certificate signed by all the technical staff who have assisted them, giving them words of encouragement and gratitude to finally ring the bell of bravery, which represents a culmination, a success, the closing of a cycle and having achieved the goal of undergoing treatment.

Our patients are our family, their hope is ours and we are committed to ensuring that they receive the highest quality treatment and a service that makes them feel that they are accompanied and that together we will all get through their illness.
